Robots and Artificial Intelligence are things that humans have been working on for a long time. There is a lot of controversy about the topic; due to scenarios we see in our media that express our fears of robots and AI such as
The Terminator and
I, Robot. However, fully functioning robots, and evolving, learning AI would be incredibly useful for us so extremely dangerous tasks can be passed on to robots who are immune to radiation, extreme temperature and other things that would be fatal to humans.
Robots like these could have prevented the Fukushima reactor meltdown when the radiation was far too dangerous for any human to enter. Robots and AI could even help people with disabilities manage their lives better with both physical and mental care as they continue to advance.
